Privacy notice: website enquiries
What happens to the details you send us through the enquiry form on this site. This notice describes how the form works today; it has not yet had legal review.
Who we are
Synthetic Industry, trading as syntheticindustry.ai, Suite 105, 88 Queen Street, Sheffield S1 2FW, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@syntheticindustry.ai. We decide why and how your enquiry details are used.
What we collect
- What you type into the form: your email address, and optionally your name, company, a description of what you need, the systems involved, a public link, timing and budget.
- Context added by the page: which outcome or page you wrote from, and the previous page on this site if you came from one.
- A short-lived rate-limit counter made from a keyed hash of your IP address, kept for about ten minutes to slow automated abuse. We do not store your IP address in a database.
We ask you not to send passwords, keys, recovery links, confidential code or customer records. Your email address is not verified by the form.
What we do with it
We read your enquiry, assess whether we can help, and reply to the address you gave to discuss scope and terms. Sending an enquiry does not order, reserve or charge anything. We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Where it goes
Sending the form emails your enquiry to our team mailboxes through our mail provider, Resend. Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. We do not keep enquiries in a website database. Copies exist in our team mailboxes and in our mail provider's sent log. These providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.
How long we keep it
We have not set an automatic deletion schedule yet. We keep enquiry emails while they are relevant to a conversation or agreement and delete them when you ask us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to our use of them. Email hello@syntheticindustry.ai. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. The calculators and search run in your browser; what you type into them is not sent to us.
